Firstborn answers the question of, “how can the conversation of Jesus be more natural?” through clothing with designs that hold profound significance, alluding to The Bible through symbolism that represent stories within it. They are hidden in plain sight by not being overly religious. Instead, they serve as appealing pieces that can be worn anywhere. What makes the brand standout is that the designs break out of the confines set by mass-production clothing companies by embracing those who wear it. The garments consist of a T-shirt and a cap. The design on the T-shirt is a plant stem with leaves growing on either side, alluding to wisdom, which is found in the book of The Proverbs. The cap consists of a vine of thorns stretching across the front of it, alluding to Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. The medium for the garments is bleach. The packaging provides a premium unboxing experience, the hang tags aim to give out the organic nature of the brand, and a series of social media posts serve as a small teaser before the reveal of the brand. Firstborn wants to create spaces all over the world where people can let their curiosity lead them to have profound conversations about life, purpose, knowledge, success, peace, joy, the afterlife and more.
