Bà Hà Coffee

Medium: Coffee shop branding

The retro visual culture of Vietnam was defined by bold experimentation: pixelated graphics, vibrant colors, and a playful collision between digital and DIY aesthetics. At the same time, linocut printmaking emphasizes strong contrast, carved textures, and intentional imperfections. This project combines both influences, merging the nostalgic energy of Y2K visuals with the tactile quality of hand-carved forms.

In Bà Hà Coffee, sharp, graphic linocut marks are paired with retro digital elements to create a visual identity that feels both raw and familiar. I wanted to explore how contrasting mediums, analog and digital, can coexist while still expressing personal and cultural identity.
