Out of all of my hyperfixations (ala tokusatsu, magical girl properties, etc), my interest in Tamagotchi was my only interest that was popular with the general public and still had a large community, I wanted to honor them by making custom Y2K inspired tamagotchi. Custom painted tamagotchi isn't anything new, but I wanted to go above and beyond by making a box design and having some tamagotchis that people could take home with them to allow more people to experience the joy that I get when raising a tamagotchi.
