Fixing the Light
In my paintings, I capture the essence of exploration above all else. I mean exploration in every sense of the word, from physical exploration of the world to intangible exploration of inner states within oneself. Through my work, I convey and portray the vastness of the fauna, flora, and biomes around the world alongside the seemingly infinite range of mental states and philosophies that unfold within oneself. The use of various materials, techniques, and approaches makes each work of art authentic and fluid in that moment. My artwork is about curiosity, discovery and knowing that a definitive ceiling of what is does not exist. I want to showcase the different worlds—both inner and outer—that people can explore by showing my own experiences, the places, the feelings that I have found myself enveloped in. My deep interest in philosophy drives me to explore the depths of the mind and the vastness of nature through my art, igniting a spirit of exploration within each viewer and inviting them to embark on their own journey of discovery and self-discovery.
