Mirai Drop
Despite the horrific bombing that occurred in Japan during WWII, it planted a seed that produced numerous creative minds including artist, designers, and writers to take arm and revolutionize Japan’s culture forever. Mirai Drop is an original Japanese candy brand heavily inspired by mangakas/comic artist during Postwar Japan and a spiritual successor of the discontinued Sakuma Drop. My project aims to pay homage to these unsung heroes and to explore some of the brilliant mangakas that impacted Japan's culture.
