The exhibition reflects both departure and arrival—releasing the familiar structures of study while stepping into new contexts and creative challenges. Each work embodies this dual movement, carrying traces of what’s ending and the promise of what’s next. This project consists of two parts. The first part is a book that details my late grandfathers experience living in Palestine before 1948 and it also includes images of his life after he was displaced. The second part of my project is a 6x7ft wall. This wall represents the West Bank wall and the audience will be encouraged to graffiti the wall the same way that Palestinians do currently. This will educate those that come by and interact with it on what struggles we currently go through in Palestine. J’Fui is a skincare line that is more fun and playful, but also cares about our customers’ skin health. J'Fui has multiple scents for you to choose from, including Avocado, Watermelon, Orange, Blueberry, and Strawberry. J'Fui also has a variety of different skin care products like: lotions, face-creams, eye-creams, serums, toners, and more.In this project, there are a lot of components that include the physical J’Fui product bottles, posters, and packaging to hold all your product needs. We also have a website as a digital component. The significance of this project to me is that I use a lot of skincare, and it's really important to me as it boosts my confidence. Making J’Fui was something I was really passionate about because I could see this being made, and helping everyone take care of their skin more. The impact I want it to have on viewers is something fun and cute you would pick up at the store, and would use continuously. I spent most of my research picking which fruit would be the best for the skin, what package design is most appealing to customers, and websites that are built with the customer in mind. Narratives around punk have long centered whiteness, distorting its origins, evolution, and continued vitality. For Black participants in these scenes, there is often a persistent myth that these spaces—and the identities within them—are not ours. This work pushes back against that notion. Through a series of infographics, I trace the history of Black punk, hardcore, and genre-blurring movements, foregrounding the artists and influences that are frequently overlooked. Alongside this, my zine offers a personal perspective—an intimate account of navigating punk as a Black creative—centering lived experience as a form of cultural knowledge. The listening station invites you to engage directly with the music, amplifying the voices and sounds that shape this history. The animation piece is divided into segments representing childhood, teenage/young adult, and adulthood, ending with the individuals passing. Each loop includes fading text that reflects on the idea that nothing stays the same or lasts forever. The project is rooted to personal experience, so some of the text may not be accurate. But it's meant to be simple to understand and relatable - especially for the young and older adults who find themselves reflecting on the past. It captures those quiet moments of pause - when we stare off, lost in thought, remembering the earlier stages of life. Each stage is represented visually and emotionally: a childhood is colorful and energetic, whilst teenage/young adult years bring nostalgia and uncertainty.
