Lion of Men

“Lion of Men” is a name inspired by the Narasiha Gatha, a Sri Lankan Buddhist text describing the Buddha’s beauty and virtue by his former spouse, Yashodhara. The name aims to praise the virtue of fatherhood. After losing my father to cancer, I learned deeply about my capacity for compassion. Although I didn’t wholeheartedly get along with my father before, I forgave every aspect of his past and focused solely on being his daughter. If holy men like the Buddha and his son, Rahula, could bond after years of abandonment, so can mundane people like us.
