Just A House

Medium: Steel

This steel house reflects the idea of visibility within suburban space. The open frame allows the structure to be fully seen and suggests transparency and order. At the same time, the windows are opaque, preventing any view inside. The design creates a clear separation between exterior presentation and interior privacy. The steel material reinforces a sense of strength and permanence within the structure.

The house appears accessible, but it is not. The viewer is left with only what is visible and cannot move beyond the surface. The structure can be seen through but never fully understood. The piece emphasizes how openness can be constructed while what matters most remains hidden. It shows how something can feel open while still being closed.
