The tale of Jodha and Akbar began as a political alliance that slowly turned into a relationship built on respect, trust, and love. This painting reflects the moment when love triumphed over pride, like spring unfolding in a royal courtyard. It draws heavily from Mughal architecture and South Asian cultural motifs, capturing the spirit of an era that felt magical to us as children. It’s a tribute to the magic that made the past feel alive, and to the fairytale whispers that filled our childhood with wonder, imagination, and awe.
