Archives of a Changing Earth: The Last Six Mosses
Medium: Mixed Media: Publication Design, 3D filament (PLA), and Live Terrariums
Concept / Theme
This project explores six endangered moss species across global ecosystems, presenting moss as environmental infrastructure and a living archive of climate change. Rooted in botanical history and scientific study, it highlights moss’s overlooked ecological and cultural significance.
Objective / Goal
The work aims to shift perception—elevating moss from background to vital system. Research into species rarity, habitats, and climate vulnerability informs the project, encouraging viewers to recognize fragility, interconnectedness, and environmental responsibility.
