Draw! Café is a café that allows people to illustrate drawings while enjoying the food and drinks. This concept was inspired by a paint-and-sip restaurant that my mother and older brother mentioned to me some time ago, where the patrons paint portraits while drinking wine. My project has a similar theme where we can draw on the sketchbooks instead of painting on canvases. My goal for this concept is to create a place where customers do not need to be good artists to visit the café, as anyone is welcome to participate regardless of
talent. This is because people tend to ask themselves if they needed to be good at a certain subject to engage in the activities. I also wanted to use the skills that I developed in my Brand Identity class to create products based on my concept, as many cafes and restaurants have made their own merchandise to promote and advertise their business.
