I AM A DREAMER

I am a Dreamer. People, often undocumented, who came to the U.S. as children and have grown up here. Many, including myself, are eligible for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. This program provides deportation protection and work authorization but faces endless legal challenges, while proposed legislation aims to create a legislative path to citizenship for eligible individuals. The purpose of this project is to give a voice to Dreamers while educating people on this obscure topic. It will create awareness and empathy for a group of people that are often overlooked, by using my own life and experiences as a reflection of all Dreamers and our hardships.
