My project is about the displacement that happens in Guatemalan families within immigration. Being aware of the systems and obstacles immigrants face on the daily.  My timeline Zine poster presents how immigration has evolved from Guatemala to America in the modern day. Speaking on social, economic, ICE, politics, presidents and so on. Secondly, I have two silhouette collage pieces that include my own and Ferguson’s images. Displaying two memorial pieces for immigrants and making two motion graphic videos for each of them.

Currently, we are dehumanizing the immigrant who is our next-door neighbor. It is about community, empathy, and understanding one another that makes for a better world. The opposite is to create separation and fear between us all.
