Conversations We Keep Having explores the conversations Muslims find themselves having again and again. Drawing from real stories and lived experiences, the project presents these moments through an interactive website and a series of large-scale typographic posters. Episodic, chat-based narratives recreate how these exchanges unfold, emphasizing repetition and how similar questions and assumptions persist across different contexts.
The work examines how seemingly small comments gain impact through accumulation. By placing viewers within these conversations, the project encourages reflection on how curiosity and intention can still reinforce stereotypes, and invites viewers to notice how repetition can turn a question into something else.
