Blackness is very important to me. It is so important that I wanted to show a way to celebrate/showcase it. I decided to design an oversized coffee table book of a year in review of black pop culture. I specifically chose the year 2024 as the year I wanted to review. I feel like black pop culture is not celebrated/appreciated enough. Black people are always making trends but are never acknowledged for said trend. In the future, I would love for this to be a collector's item.
